New Beginnings…Again
When we are planted, we are given an opportunity to set firmly in our space, spread our roots and take hold. To make this space our own. We are in a creative place, a place of ownership. Designing and refining are part of our day on most days, right? They could be and should be, or we begin to lose focus and perhaps, purpose.
I have lived a really great life, for the most part. I am pretty adaptable, I flourish in new places, I like to explore, create, and design, make new, and breathe life back into the old. I am all about reuse, repurpose and recycle. That explains my eclectic home, disarray of furnishings, and a wardrobe that turns heads, and not always in a good way. I see beauty in things that some might not understand. My eyes see differently, and I have prayed for that my whole life. I am not like most, and I truly am not like many. Again, mostly by choice.
I am who I am because He says so…I cling to these words. As long as He gets me, I am good with it. Am I still human with feelings that hurt, feel pain, and get angry? Absolutely! I fail daily and I see that that as growth and another opportunity to find another path. I love digging in and doing, I love to see others flourish, grow and succeed. That is what this life is all about.
For those of us that believe in the afterlife, eternity, Heaven, and I am open to whatever anyone believes, as long as it is not of an evil nature. Not my job to judge, I am just passing through this life. We are spiritual beings with a body, having a human experience, for this go around.
And, the rest is yet to be written…
