Good Morning, Sunshine!
Some days are better than others, would you agree? Not all days are total darkness or light? It truly is up to us to find the light on dark days. And, if we can't find it, we need to BE it!
Today, I want to share some good stuff that's been going on in my life.
At my seasoned age, 69 trips around the sun, and going fairly strong, I still believe in the goodness of people. I believe we have a purpose in this life. That if we believe in eternity, and we do our best each day, if we serve with love, and we commit to growth and developing our talents, sharing our gifts, creating positive energy, sending out gentle kind vibes and healing energy, we have a good shot at seeing the beautiful hereafter.
I am not afraid to die. I by no means am ready to die, but I do not fear death on most levels. What I mean is, death is not finite to me. Yes, my body will cease to function, I will no longer inhabit this world, but I hope my spirit will leave behind a warm glow, a warmth that will remain with family, to assure them I am safe and still with them.
I believe that every day I live, every day I choose joy, every day I grow forward, I am evolving spiritually, growing into a spiritual being, and shedding more of the physical life here on earth. I am not sad about it, I believe that is part of our life cycle.
I was blessed with some great moments yesterday. Moments I got to share with a gentleman, I was blessed to offer a little of my time and assistance, and I hope he felt my honest desire to treat him respectfully and kindly. Some days, the smallest act of kindness may leave the biggest impression of true love in action. I know he made a difference in my day, and I am grateful for his smile.
Enjoy your day, and don't overlook the simple joys; they might be the greatest part of your day!
